What exactly is Beagle International?
Beagle International is a premium travel company built around one purpose — creating happiness. We design and operate guided tours, curated travel packages, birding expeditions, private flights, and elevated travel experiences across South America and the world. Everything we do is handled by our team, from the moment you reach out to the moment you arrive home.
How is Beagle International different from a standard travel agency?
We are not a booking platform and we are not a standard travel agency. We are a hands-on travel company with boots on the ground, local guides in every destination, and a team that is available to you 365 days a year — including holidays. We don't just arrange trips. We take care of people.
What does Beagle International actually offer?
We offer five distinct travel services, all operating under the Beagle International umbrella: Beagle Tours (guided multi-day tours), Beagle Packages (fully curated tailored travel packages), Beagle Birding (expert-led birdwatching expeditions), Beagle Flights (private aviation), and Beagle Experience (elevated, off-the-beaten-path travel). Each service can be booked independently or combined into one seamless journey.
Where does Beagle International operate?
Our primary expertise is South America — particularly Argentina, Chile, and Peru — but our reach extends to Brazil, Africa, New Zealand, Australia, the Philippines, Vietnam, and beyond. If you have a destination in mind, reach out and we'll tell you honestly whether we can deliver an exceptional experience there.
Can I travel solo with Beagle International?
Absolutely. We welcome solo travelers, couples, families, and groups. Many of our experiences are designed for small groups of like-minded travelers, and we can also build fully private custom itineraries for individuals or parties of any size.
GETTING STARTED

How Booking Works.

How do I book a trip with Beagle International?
The easiest way to start is to reach out through our contact page or give us a call. We don't use an automated booking engine — every trip is handled personally by our team. Tell us where you want to go, when, and what kind of experience you're after, and we'll build the right itinerary for you.
How far in advance should I book?
For most tours and packages, we recommend booking at least 60 to 90 days in advance. For private flights, peak-season travel, or highly customized itineraries, earlier is always better. That said, don't hesitate to reach out even if your travel dates are close — we'll always do our best to make it work.
Do tour rates include international flights?
International airfare is not included in our tour rates unless specifically stated. We find that travelers often get better fares booking directly, and this also gives you the flexibility to choose your own routing and schedule. If you'd like help arranging flights, our team can connect you with a trusted travel agent.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept major credit cards, bank transfers, and other payment methods depending on your location. Full payment details will be provided when your itinerary is confirmed. A deposit is typically required to secure your booking, with the balance due closer to your departure date.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellation terms vary depending on the type of experience, the destination, and how close to departure the cancellation occurs. Full cancellation terms will be clearly outlined in your booking confirmation. We always recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your investment.
Do you offer travel insurance?
We strongly recommend travel insurance for all Beagle International trips. While we do not sell insurance directly, we are happy to recommend reputable providers. Good travel insurance covers trip cancellation, medical emergencies, baggage loss, and unexpected delays.
TRAVEL LOGISTICS

Getting There & Getting Around.

Do I need a visa to travel to Argentina, Chile, or Peru?
Visa requirements vary by nationality and change frequently. As a general rule, most US, Canadian, and EU passport holders do not require a visa for short stays in Argentina, Chile, or Peru. However, it is each traveler's responsibility to verify current entry requirements with the relevant consulate before travel. The most up-to-date information is always available at the official government websites or through the CDC at wwwnc.cdc.gov.
Do I need a valid passport?
Yes. A valid passport is required for entry into all of our destinations. Most countries require your passport to be valid for at least six months beyond your planned departure date. Always check the specific requirements for your destination before travel.
How will I get from the airport to my hotel?
We arrange private airport transfers for all guests. A member of our team or a trusted local partner will be waiting for you when you land — no need to figure out taxis or rideshares after a long flight. If your flight details change, let us know and we'll adjust accordingly.
What type of transportation is used during tours?
We use private cars and vans for all ground transportation. You will not be sharing buses with strangers or following a flag through a crowd. Every transfer is private, comfortable, and coordinated by our team.
Can you accommodate special dietary requirements?
We will always do our best to accommodate dietary needs and food allergies. Please let us know at the time of booking so we can pass that information to our local guides and hospitality partners. In most of our destinations, accommodating dietary requirements is straightforward — though in very remote areas, options may be more limited. We will always tell you what to expect in advance.
What vaccinations do I need?
Vaccination requirements vary by destination. The CDC website (wwwnc.cdc.gov) provides up-to-date recommended and required vaccinations for every country. We strongly recommend consulting your doctor or a travel health clinic at least 4 to 6 weeks before departure.
How much should I budget for tips?
Tips are never required on any Beagle International tour. However, it is customary in Argentina and Chile to offer a small tip for exceptional service, and our guides and drivers genuinely appreciate the gesture. Some travelers also enjoy bringing small gifts from home. We're happy to advise on local customs when you book.
ACTIVITIES & TOURS

What to Expect on the Ground.

Can I customize my tour itinerary?
Yes — and we encourage it. Every Beagle International experience is built around your group's preferences, pace, and interests. We create custom itineraries to suit individual requirements and can organize everything from accommodation to private transfers, activities, dining, and add-on experiences. Just tell us what matters most to you.
How large are your tour groups?
We specialize in small group travel. Intimate group sizes mean better access, more personalized attention from guides, and a richer overall experience. For private bookings, you travel exclusively with your own party.
Who are your local guides?
Our guides are not generalists hired to follow a script. They are biologists, naturalists, historians, and regional specialists who live and work in the places they guide. Their deep connection to the land, culture, and people of each destination is one of the things that sets a Beagle International experience apart.
What is the physical fitness level required for activities like ATV adventures, horseback riding, or trekking?
Physical requirements vary by activity. Most of our activities are accessible to travelers with a moderate level of fitness. Specific requirements for each activity are listed on the individual activity pages. If you have any concerns, reach out before booking and we'll help you find the right fit.
Are activities safe? Who provides safety oversight?
Safety is our first priority on every experience we offer. All activities are led by certified local operators with full safety equipment and protocols in place. Skydiving and paragliding are conducted with certified instructors. ATV and moto adventures include full safety briefings. We only partner with operators we trust completely.
Can children participate in Beagle Tours activities?
Many of our tours and activities are family-friendly. Age and fitness requirements vary by activity — horseback riding, boat rides, and cultural tours are generally very accessible for families, while skydiving and more extreme activities have minimum age requirements. Contact us with your family's details and we'll build the right itinerary.
PRIVATE FLIGHTS

Everything About Beagle Flights.

What is Beagle Flights?
Beagle Flights is our private aviation service — designed to get you closer to your destination faster, more comfortably, and with complete flexibility. We operate a fleet of private aircraft piloted by experienced bush pilots and aviation specialists who know the terrain intimately, including remote airstrips that commercial airlines cannot reach.
Can I combine a private flight with a tour or lodge stay?
Absolutely — and this is one of the most popular ways our guests travel. Beagle Flights integrates seamlessly with all of our other services. We can fly you directly to a remote lodge, a birding destination, a Patagonian glacier, or a wine estate in the Andes. Your entire journey — air and ground — is coordinated by one team.
What types of aircraft does Beagle Flights operate?
Our fleet includes comfortable light aircraft optimized for both passenger comfort and performance in remote environments. Full fleet details are available on the Beagle Flights page. Every aircraft is maintained to the highest safety standards.
How far in advance do I need to book a private flight?
We recommend booking private flights as early as possible, particularly for remote destinations and peak travel seasons. Contact our team directly and we will advise on availability and lead times for your specific route.
Can Beagle Flights reach remote destinations that commercial airlines cannot?
Yes — this is one of the greatest advantages of traveling with Beagle Flights. Our pilots are experienced with remote airstrips, backcountry routes, and wilderness landings that bring you directly to the heart of your experience rather than hours away from it.
BIRDING TOURS

Everything About Beagle Birding.

What is Beagle Birding?
Beagle Birding is our expert-led birdwatching travel service — designed for passionate birders of all levels, from beginners picking up their first pair of binoculars to serious listers chasing endemics across remote habitats. Every trip is led by biologists and naturalists with deep field expertise and a genuine passion for conservation.
Do I need to be an experienced birder to join a Beagle Birding tour?
Not at all. Our birding tours are designed to be accessible and deeply enjoyable for beginners, while still delivering the sightings and depth of knowledge that experienced birders demand. We'll meet you exactly where you are.
Are smoking and alcohol permitted on birding tours?
Out of respect for fellow travelers and the natural environments we visit, tour members are asked not to smoke during birding tours, in vehicles, or in shared accommodation. Reasonable alcohol consumption is fine in appropriate settings.
Does Beagle make changes to tour dates or group leaders?
Tour dates and leaders are confirmed in advance. While occasional changes are sometimes necessary, we do everything possible to ensure tours operate as originally planned. When changes do occur, you will be notified promptly and provided with a full explanation.
Are international flights included in birding tour rates?
International airfare is not included in birding tour rates unless specifically stated. As with all Beagle services, we find that travelers typically secure better fares booking independently — but our team is happy to connect you with a trusted travel agent if you need assistance.
What equipment should I bring on a birding tour?
A reliable pair of binoculars is essential. We also recommend a field guide to your destination's bird species, comfortable and weather-appropriate clothing in neutral colors, sturdy walking footwear, and sun protection. Detailed packing lists are provided with every booking confirmation.
HEALTH & SAFETY

Traveling Well & Staying Safe.

How does Beagle International handle medical emergencies in remote destinations?
The safety and wellbeing of our guests is our highest priority. Our guides are trained in first aid and emergency response protocols. We maintain close relationships with local medical facilities in all of our destinations. For remote expeditions, emergency communication equipment is carried at all times. We also strongly recommend that all travelers carry comprehensive travel and medical insurance.
What should I do if my travel plans change due to illness or a personal emergency?
Contact our team immediately. We are available 365 days a year and will do everything we can to assist you. Outcomes will depend on your booking terms, insurance coverage, and how close to departure the change occurs — but we will always work with you to find the best possible solution.
Is the water safe to drink in Argentina and South America?
Tap water safety varies by destination and region. In Buenos Aires and most major Argentine cities, tap water is generally safe to drink. In more remote areas, we recommend bottled or purified water. Your guide will always advise you on local conditions.
Do I need travel insurance?
We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance for every Beagle International trip. A good policy covers trip cancellation, medical emergencies, evacuation, lost baggage, and travel delays. It is one of the most important things you can do before any international trip.
